Introduction

This podcast episode will work with a description of what a story is and its characteristics.

Definition: A short story typically takes the form of a brief fictional work, usually written in prose.

The earliest precursors to the short story can be found in the oral storytelling tradition, as well as episodes from ancient Mediterranean epics, such as 'The Epic of Gilgamesh' and Homer's 'Iliad.'

2.    What do you know about a short story? Complete the following graphic organizer

 

3.    You will listen to a podcast and take notes about the definition of a story and its characteristics.

4.    In trios, share the information from your notes and complete them

 

 

5.    According to the information learned, in pairs, make up your own story and send it to the group or present it in class (Homework)

 

Session 2

6.    The story will be evaluated by a rubric in groups

 

7.    Then, in pairs prepare a podcast and share it in the class

 

8.    Complete the  graphic organizer KWLS (LS)

 

 

9.    Students can listen to the podcasts in the platform and share the comments in the class.
